He is the darling of the press.





Why do a lot of English fans and the English media generally have more faces than a town clock?





Only asking because apparently after Scotland's defeat on Saturday, Israel offering you one more chance, you had less teeth than a basking shark and only Beckham's cross gave you an opening.

Please enlgihten me. Why did you all bay for Beckham's blood 18 months ago and now?

Reply:Wow, you should be an author. I had no idea people really talk like that. You certainly have a way with words, even though, being American, I cannot relate since we don't "do" soccer. Even if Becks did come to teach us, I don't think it will catch on.

Reply:I've always thought that Beckham has been like the most important player in that side, appart from being the 2nd top scorer in the side (after only Owen I believe) he also gets a lot of assists and is always a threat from set pieces.





Most people that hate Beckham are just jealous, which is only normal, he has the looks, the money and it's not a bad footballer either, if he doesnt give 110% in a game then people will start saying he is rubbish.
