How to say in vietnamese?
I could have translated all those phrases for you but I decided not to do that because you are not going to benefit much from the translation. Vietnamese is a tonal language that's written with accent marks and without those marks, words can be seriously understood. Even with the accent marks, those who are without any training in differentiating them will not be able to pronounce the words properly; thus leading to even more misunderstanding.

Simple examples: "dao cao dai" can mean" the caodaist faith" or "a long razor", depending on which and where the accent marks are placed. Similarly, "My den xau" can mean "the Americans are advancing deeper into the area" or it can mean the "African Americans are ugly".

Therefore, I advise you to consider spending a few dollars on a phrase book (such as the one sold through Wal-Mart in the link below), and study the phrases/words therein complete with accent marks and phonetics. In a few day, you'll be able to get a few key words and phrase that'll be helpful to you as a tourist in Vietnam. Keep the book handy while you're there though.
