Do people REALLY think that Dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible?

Because they aren't. Anyone who's actually READ the passages and knows anything about dinosaurs can tell you that.


For those of you who don't understand, let me try and explain;





Job..40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.





Job 40:16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.





Well dinos did'nt have navels. Not being mammals and all.





40:17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.





Clearly the reference to "stones" means testicles. Dinos, like all lizards, have no visible genetalia.


Behemoth, clearly, is an Elephant or a Rhino.





Leviathan now;


Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?





41:14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.





Predators tend to have teeth all around their mouths like sharks, or in the case of Leviathan, a Crocodile.

Do people REALLY think that Dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible?
And bats aren't birds and rabbits don't chew the cud. For the word of god, it sure got a lot wrong.

Reply:Elephants and Rhinos dont have tails the size of Cedar Trees.





*NAVEL* means in the center of His stomach.

There are dinosaurs in the Bible.
Reply:Now what are you talking about. Why,there are probably christian dinosaurs even today. His message is for everyone. Besides,nobody can thump a bible like a big old T-Rex.
Reply:In the KJV Apocrypha there is a book called Bel, it entails another story which maybe considered as a Dinosaur.
Reply:This isn't anything against your point, but I just thought I should say that dinosaurs weren't lizards. They were fairly closely related though, like mammals were at that time. I still doubt that they had testicles though.

You have no more proof that dinosaurs didn't exist in man's time, as I have proof that they did.

Reply:Just coz dino's aren't mentioned doesn't mean they weren't there in the beginning.





and what is with everyone quoting in the KJV. I don't speak Shakespearian english, but modern engllish, try the NIV people.
Reply:You assume because they are not named, that they didn't exist at the time. However there are many animals that are not mentioned in the bible, yet they existed then and also today.
