Question about fossils and the BEACH....?

Currently they are dredging (beach renourishment) where i live... they are bringing in sand from about 1/4 mile -1/3 mile out from the beach, and dumping it on the beach.... and i am an avid fossil/ anything cool collector.... i have found a neat sand dollar fossil a few months ago, and have found plenty of sharks teeth, 1900%26#039;s bottles and today just found a %26quot;ginormous%26quot; sand dollar, any thing i can keep my eye on?

i always pick up round rocks to look for sea urchin fossils, plenty of scallops, but i need more to look for... any suggestions to keep an eye for??

i cant wait for tomorrow morning!

or any examples of what you guys have found??

Question about fossils and the BEACH....?
Why look for anything specifically? part of the fun if fossil hunting is the discovery. if something catches your eye, pick it up and if it has worth to you you can choose to keep it or discard it.

I sometimes go fossil hunting in an area where I can find trilobites, corals, brachiopods, and another area where I find fern fossils.... you never know what you will get

Have a great time, I truly wish I could join you
