Name 10 Things In Your House Related to Geology?

I can only get a couple. I really need to do this extra credit, I%26#039;m failing science. So this is what I%26#039;ve got so far:

Magnifying glass, shovel, rocks/stones, shark teeth, and hammer. If you can help, thank you. First person to give me 5 more gets best answer.

Reply:Coal [for the BBQ; found in the earth (coal mines), forms diamonds, coal is a %26quot;fossil fuel%26quot;].

Oil (fossil fuel)

tar (fossil fuel) - I don%26#039;t know where you%26#039;d find it in your house...

Fertilizer (derived, in part, from limestone, potash, sulfur, salt...)

Salt (used on icey roads in winter)

Water (aids in forming earth%26#039;s surface; but found in the house)

Silver (silverware)

Gold (jewelry, teeth)

Mercury (in a thermostat or thermometer)

Tin (tin cans)

Iron

Steel

Climate Control (?)

Cement (produced from cement rock)

Glass (derived from boron)

Insulation (derived boron)

Soap and detergents (derived from boron)

[The reason I said %26quot;climate control%26quot; is because climate plays such a large part in forming the earth%26#039;s surface and rocks %26amp; minerals in it. We have climate control with air conditioning and heating in our homes (%26quot;micro environments%26quot;).... so you could also say %26quot;heat%26quot; and %26quot;cooling%26quot; because you have them in you home. :)
