-Why are fossils, shark teeth, bones, ect. often found in clay when mined?





-Why is water important when doing Ceramic Work?





-Describe why clay is one of the most spontaneous art mediums?

-mining brings minerals from deeper inside the earth. often bringing up fossils from water sources that were once there or other life forms.


-water keeps the clay moist so that it will not crumble, or dry out, or crack.


-also clay is the most spontaneous because you can do so much with it- sculpture, accesories, decorate, build, etc.
